About the 3-Hour Quad Safari in Marsa Alam
Hotel Pick-Up
First, we pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am and take you to the quad base. The transfer takes only about 30 minutes.
Quad Biking in the Desert
After a short briefing, you do a few practice runs in a safe area. All quads have automatic gearboxes, so they are very easy to handle. You just need to accelerate and brake. Then it is off into the desert! About 60 kilometres of riding on sandy tracks and dunes awaits you, surrounded by silence and remarkable desert scenery.
Bedouin Village
After about an hour’s ride, you reach a Bedouin village. You receive a warm welcome, taste traditional Bedouin tea and learn about the culture and daily life of the desert’s inhabitants.
Camel Ride and Return
To finish, a short camel ride awaits. At around 11:00 am, we start the journey back, and the driver takes you safely to your hotel.
An English-speaking safari guide from Sharara Tours accompanies you throughout the trip.
Why Choose This 3 Hour Quad Safari in Marsa Alam?
Above all, the trip lasts only a few hours, so you have the afternoon free for the beach. The desert is also still pleasantly cool in the morning. Quads with automatic gearboxes suit beginners as well. Transfers, water and Bedouin tea are included. If you are travelling with your family, children can of course ride with an adult. As a result, everyone will enjoy the adventure. See more Marsa Alam excursions.
Practical Tips
Above all, wear closed shoes and comfortable clothes. A scarf and glasses are also useful, as there is plenty of dust on the route. Remember sunscreen too. Importantly, bring small change for tips.
What’s more, the guides look after your safety throughout the route, so you can focus entirely on the adventure. We also stop for photos along the way. If you like, we can suggest the longer Super Safari in the evening, so you can see the desert from yet another side.
